So I found this writing of mine as I was cleaning/organizing/purging, well maybe not purging, more like regrouping our garage. It’s funny I believe I wrote this between 2001 and 2005 at a minimum ten years ago and I had to laugh because I’m still single. Oh not the single you find on forms, but the divorce, you find on forms. Hey single is single right? But alas, it was cool to see where my thoughts were back then and to realize, at the time… Oh I forgot to add the rest of what I wrote…

So at the time, I’d been single, not just divorced, but actually not dating anyone since May 1999. Even if I wrote this at the 2005 mark, I would have been single for six years. So I’m thinking, at the time, I’m getting married sooner than later, right? Hey, I was moving along in my walk with Jesus, I was finding myself and learning about being a mom of teens into adults. I had a job, going to school, I was a reservist, we had two dogs. I was living the dream and thinking, believing any moment, any day, I’m going to meet him. You know, the right one. ☺ As it turns out, lol here, seriously, cuz I’m pretty happy right now. But anyway, as it turns out, it’s been sixteen years since May of 1999. And I’m still single! Yikes!
